Sunsmart Posters

In class we have been learning about how we can be sunsmart. We have displayed our work as a poster. Here are a few facts on how to be sunsmart: you need to put on about one teaspoon of sunscreen on your arms and your legs and you only need about half a teaspoon on your face.

Martin Luther King

For topic we did research about a famous person. I chose Martin Luther King Jr. Here is some information about him: He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. Martin Luther King is famous because of his speech about the difference in opportunities for different people. There are over 730 streets in the U.S named after him. Martin Luther King was the youngest person to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.

The Island of Wingo Pamphlet

For writing we made pamphlets of our choice. I chose to do my pamphlet on a fictional place called The Island of Wingo. Here is some information about it: The island of Wingo is by the island of Singa. Surrounding Wingo island is hundreds of sharks so you have to get shot out of a cannon to get there. The weather on Wingo island is very hot but everyday at twelve o'clock it rains. At Wingo Island there is no devices so I would recommend it for families.
